JupiterGrades

JupiterGrades:

Robert set up our JupiterGrades tool for the term, the system is for keeping track of scores in the Webskills class. We were also asked to get into the on-line grading system for the class, JupiterGrades.

We were sent a link to our primary email address only to register with JupiterGrades creating a new password.

We were asked to save our user name and password so that we will be able to periodically get into the JupiterGrades system to check our own scores and make sure we are on the right target.

What Robert informed us about JupiterGrades:

A quick teacher note on JupiterGrades. We choose to use this webservice with this class because we wish to expose you to a variety of tools that you may possibly use in the future. JupiterGrades, or any other tool we choose for that matter, may not be one you need or one that you choose to use, or it may not even exist in the future (the web changes so fast). But there certainly will be other programs or services that do the same thing.

JupiterGrades offers a free, minimal service; however, the University of Oregon, AEI has purchased amore powerful version that allows you as "student" to see your own grades (so I don't have to send them to you every week). We feel strongly that it is important for you to know about these tools, and that they even exist. It's what I sometimes call the IDKYCDT factor (I Didn't Know You Could Do That). After using Snapegrades several terms, I find it to be time saving and user friendly - a nice teacher tool.
